Beach Erosion Gets Aided By Tourist Development Council

I won’t go into detail regarding her answers to the various questions, but I will give you a little expert of her answers. By the way, it’s the Tourist Development Council that’s making the investment in this much needed effort. So, let’s begin!
Jason: How much will the beach will receive new vegetation?
Lisa: “Nearly all the beach[…]” from Pinnacle Port condominiums to the St. Andrews State Park.
Jason: Approximately how many plants will be planted?
Lisa: “Approximately 1.5-1.7 million plants.”
Jason: Will there be plants other than sea oats planted?
Lisa: The current bid defines 5 types of plants currently. That includes sea oats, dune panic grass, beach elder, sea purslane and beach morning glory.
Jason: What is the expected cost of the entire project?
Lisa: The estimate, which she goes on to say, “I stress estimate,” is $1.5 to $2 million.
Jason: What is the object, meaning, are there areas that have historical erosion points that this will prevent or reduce erosion?
Lisa: The project will enhance existing dune systems or the lack thereof. Over time, it should help build the dunes which will protect us from storms and help fight erosion.
