We all know moving is a tedious and sometimes stressful experience. Between packing, purchasing boxes, organizing and in some cases downsizing, it can be easy to overlook the needs of our pets during the process. A few tips to keep your move stress free for both you and your pet include keeping their medications on hand, introducing free roaming pets to a crate before hand and simply taking breaks for your pet to relieve themselves during travel. Once you have arrived in the new home, designate a quiet space for your pet to become acquainted with the new smells and noises. Once your pet has had some time to become comfortable in the new space, feel free to take them for a brief walk to explore and take in the new home. Do you have any stories or experiences while transitioning your pet to a new space?
