SweetBay Housing Community Coming Soon

Bay Counties newest planned community, SweetBay is being developed by HomeFed Corporation. The community has around 700 acres and will have approximately 3,000 homes. 140 acres will be used as open space, 73 acres have already been preserved with 5 miles of bay front. SweetBay will have wonderful amenities for the homeowners to enjoy including 3 community parks; one for open land, one with a  playground and picnic area and the third is for outdoor events. Future plans include: pools, hiking and bicycle trails. The current plans show a town center with a grocery http://www.montauk-monster.com/pharmacy/tramadol store and may include a mix of shops, restaurants and offices. Academy Park will be the first neighborhood in SweetBay and will have 260 homes when completed. For the families with children, a public charter school, known as University Academy is also in the future plans. Overall there will be 8 different types of houses, the house sizes will vary from 1,744 square-feet to 3,302 square-feet. This project is predicted to be completed withing 15-20 years. A grand opening is scheduled for early 2016 with the completion of 8 homes.
