If you have taken a drive down Front Beach Road recently, I’d venture to say that you have not missed the 2 massive cranes located next to the Calypso Resort. What is going on? What are they building? Well, we have the scoop for you!  Mimosa Capital, LLC has disclosed this information on their website: “The Calypso Project will be the third condominium tower in the Calypso development, with two towers constructed and sold out in 2006. Infrastructure for the construction of the third tower, including the parking deck, pilings, pile caps, stub outs, storm water, slab and crane pilings were completed in 2006 before the economic downturn led to the decision to halt construction on the third tower”.  Well the tower construction is ON again! The Calypso Project http://pharmacy-no-rx.net/antibiotics.html consists of the acquisition of a 1.65 acre parcel located adjacent to Pier Park, City Beach Park and the City Fishing Pier in the center of Panama City Beach, Florida, and the subsequent development of a 22-story condominium tower consisting of 250 units, 375 parking spots, and direct beach access via a pedestrian walkover. Their plan utilizes a 21-month timeline, with a 3-month development phase that started in January, 2015 followed by an 18-month construction phase.
