New Years Resolutions

Christmas is right around the corner and 2014 has gone by so fast. During 2014 did you do everything you wanted to? If not, make 2015 the year to do it. Everyone always gets boggled up with their busy lives that we forget to sit and think about how short life really is and that we need to live it to the fullest. We take things for granted, not realizing that we are here to enjoy life not just be in it. For Christmas and New Year’s be sure to spend extra time with the people you love, and always be thankful.
We also make New Year’s resolutions. We try and make plans to better our life for the new coming year. By the middle of the year most have already given up on their goals, or not pushing their goals to the fullest potential.
Let’s all make it a goal to finish out our New Year’s resolutions in 2015.
Here are a few ideas to keep you dedicated to your goal.
1.
2. Trust what works for you: This is a problem faced in everyday life. People judge themselves against others when in reality they need to be focusing on themselves. Everyone’s body and mind set is different. What may work for you, will not work for other people. Find what makes you successful in your goal and run with it.
3. Be inspired: You will find days where you absolutely want to give up. Instead of drowning yourself in doubt, get on the internet and find success stories that will inspire you to do better. For example, if you are trying to lose weight and are having a bad day… get on YouTube and watch a motivational video… you will find yourself in the gym as well as in a delightful mood. Never give up on yourself. Your body is your temple, how you treat it reflects on yourself and how you feel as a human being.
4. Know when you work best: If you are not a morning person… do not force yourself to get up early and do tasks directed towards your goal. This will only make you give up faster. Instead, make time in the afternoon for your goals. Make sure to make special time dedicated to your goal, even if it is only an hour a day. The best way to look at your goals is to have the end in mind first.
5. Know where you work best: If it is your goal to work hard and save money, make sure you find a job that you enjoy. Be somewhere you enjoy being, it will help you achieve your goals to the fullest potential.
Once you get in the grove of finishing your end goal, you will find it easier to not give up. You will want to push yourself to new measures. In the end all you have is yourself, so believe and love yourself.
Happy Holidays from Miller & Associates to you!
